Creating a Luxury Dental Clinic

Specialists Global Dental, who acted as consultants, designers and project managers as well as suppliers of equipment, maintenance and FM, delivered the ‘end-to-end’ project for their Spain-based clients.

The 3 Step Smiles clinic is inspired by renowned Crooke & Laguna-owned practices in Malaga, Marbella and Churriana.

Crooke & Laguna will now consider opening a range of private clinics, also designed for optimum patient experience, across the UK.

Attention to Detail

Global Dental Managing Director Ryan Devenish oversaw each stage of the project from flying to Spain to discuss the concept with the clients to proudly making a pre-launch visit with some flowers on behalf of the Global Dental team.

He outlined the thinking behind the unique 3 Step Smiles partnership: “Sophisticated colours and finishes set this practice apart from the rest. That’s why design was carried out with a focus on attention to detail and reflected in the finishing touches, including custom ironmongery and quality soft furnishings.

“The interior space was maximised by specialist design and carefully chosen placement of treatment rooms, complete with four technologically-advanced surgeries, an impressively spacious reception and waiting area, private consultation room, separate staff room, local decontamination unit and much more,” he explained.

Design Meets Technology

With implants and large scale ‘smile makeovers’ being the primary function of the clinic, digital equipment was installed throughout, including digital intra-oral units, phosphor plate scanner and a CBCT scanner, located in a dedicated CT room.

High-end break-leg dental treatment chairs from Spanish manufacturer Ancar were chosen for optimum patient comfort and ease of access.

Alongside delivering impressive design and beautiful details, the ‘complete consultation and delivery’ approach offered by Global Dental also included helping the clients with preparation for their dental industry CPI inspection.
